What's the difference between the JDM center console, and the one offered from say collegehills for the GE8's?

They look nearly identical in the pics.

Normally they don`t allow you to buy them... you need to have a hook up

A ball park price..?? I would have to say close to 3000~4000$ for the complete front and rear swap....and then you have to factor in Body shop labor because this conversion is going to be more laborintensive than the GD JDM conversion was... with the GE you will have to do some major font end/subframe mods to make it work....

Does anyone have a photo of what the armrest looks like in the Fit Sport(MT)? Does it look like this one?

jdm opens using the left... haha usdm opens using the right

that's a sad news to me...

i really wanted to understand everything on my ride.. any kind souls willing to help me obtain the manuals?

Yeah, I'd definately want to get them too.
I would think that HELMS would have the state side version of the sevice manuals ready sometime soon..??.... I will also be picking them up as well for cross referance.

well, HELMS manuals will be useful to you guys in the States, but not be as useful to us, coz we are driving RHD/JDM FIT here in SG..

The JDM manuals are not cheap by any means.... for 3 sevice manuals it cost me in the upper realm of 4XX.00 dollars... and the parts manual.... I wont even go there....almost half of the 1st figure....

i never knew it's that expensive!

i am still looking/finding thru the japan sites for the service manuals.. hopefully can find one...

I hate to be rude, I know you said you get some of your stuff from Japan. I assume you live there too majority of the year? I have to say that I am hatin because I like all the stuff that your able to purchase for your fit. I would really like to purchase some of the same stuff for my fit, but not incur the major cost of shipping every part from Japan. Please tell me how I can get my hands on a catalog for these items?

No problem..... Most of the stuff I get is from the honda dealer in Japan and the other things from maker contacts..... If there is something your looking for PM me... I might be able to get it for you.... ( after I get back to the states )
