Is the GE8's hood aluminum?

Is the GE8's hood aluminum?
I lifted the hood and was surprise how light it was. Also there was an air duct under the hood to direct air to the intake area.

NO haha... i think the S2000 hood is lighter lol.

Cheap thin sheetmetal does the same thing as aluminum.

That must be it because I've lifted other hoods in other cars and this hood is pretty light. Probably because the crash structure is stronger now so they don't need a think hood.
