paint care

I love the color, had it for almost a year. It's like having the Crown Royal special edition. When it's clean and perfect it's the most beautiful car paint I've ever seen. Now for the bad part. It shows every speck of dirt and dust and every chip that front end takes. I don't regret it and it's not for everyone but I still like white (not in 08) for ease of care and people considering BBP might want to think about the clear bras. On the upside I might end up opening up a side business in chip repair!

BBP looks great! But I would never buy it. See im too fussy about how my car looks. I cant stand to see a scratch or a swirl mark on my car. It really bugs me! I also cant stand when the sun shines on your front bumper after you just clean it and it reveals ALL the chips. It looks like S**t. White and silver are great...they hide any imperfections even with the sunlight shining on it.

No doubt dark colors show the shine better than light colors.

My rule of thumb is if you are fussy...I advise to buy a light color...for the Fit, I wouldnt go any darker than MR. If you are not...go buy Crystal Black.

Man. that's beautiful. But I don't think ours does that 2-color thing as much...when mine is in the shade it looks more dark blue than royal blue.

I am fussy and I am sure I'll notice all the chips, scratches, etc. but fell in love with this color. I collect Black Amethyst depression glass which is black when you look at it, but when you hold it up to light, it is purple...like a hidden secret. That's what BBP is like.

The guy who put on my tint said, "Wow that's a beautiful color!" I just said, "Yeah, isn't it?"

I think he means the '09 color - maybe it's a little different from the previous gen. It will most likely be the last color to arrive.

Depending on how much you want to search the US 09 was the japanese 08. The very first pictures released, and there around fitfreak somewhere were of a japanese RS version in, guess what color, Blackberry Pearl. Generally if Honda changes the color even subtly such as this years blue changes then they actually call the color by a different name. By the way I care enough that back in sept. of 07 there was only one way to, for sure, find out what BBP looked like. Order one. Mine arrived on November 2nd, 07. I'll try and find the pics of the Japanese RS in BBP but that could take some time.

Mine arrives in November 2nd, 07.

Unless you've got a time machine, that should read November 2nd, 08.

correct me if I'm wrong but the 09s are arriving right now in the year 2008. I ordered my 2008 BBP Fit last September 2007 and took delivery on November 02 2007. I wasn't the first fitfreak to have BBP either so apparently there's lots of functional honda Time machines. That's pretty cool! I never thought of it that way.

I keep messing up the tense of my statements. Sorry about the confusion. Typically 09s come out in 08 etc. The time machine thing isn't working perfectly mentally!

It took toooo much work but fitfreak.net Does in fact allow time travel. Anyway I found the stupid link to an early release, to a Tokyo car show, of the 2008 BBP JDM Fit. With the US modifications this will become the 2009 Fit.

Tasteless IMHO

Way too Tacky and dark. No class. Some colors work great on certain cars and look bad on otherd but frankly I can't think of a single car I would like this on. Just my OPINION.
