Unhappy Why would anyone NOT get the BBP?

By far, the best color.

Vivid Blue Pearl USED to be the best, but not anymore.

This is the color redhatyellow approves.

think about it:

white: too boring.
black: too boring.
red: nice, but too flashy.
blue: too normal.
light blue: too ugly.
orange: not bad...but too much like matrix.

bbp: the pretty, mysterious unique color that changes in light like magic.

Interesting color, which is rare here in midwest (at least for '08s). Actually looks blue from some angles, and purple from others. Its rarity must be the reason it costs $2,142,000

No doubt an appealing color. Too dark for the heat here, too hard to keep clean. I am getting the Blue sensation and it will be the darkest car I've ever had.

Looks nice though.

Good choice! I saw the Blue Sensation today at the local dealer -- it was being prepped for a customer. Looks great, and even better in person. I think it makes the car look a bit more refined. My bro is getting the blue, so I'm leaning towards white or orange, which I have yet to see "live." Good luck!

This new BBP looks more towards the GD3's black amethyst color doesn't it? Either way, looks good!

Edit: Just realized that the picture is in Japan - so the USA release of BBP might be the same as the USDM gd3's BBP.

IMHO:
White: nice looking, begs for aftermarket add ons, easy to keep clean, (suposedly)stays cool in the heat. Too plain for my tastes.
Black: Not bad looking but,too hot in the summer, too hard to keep clean, shows scratches.
Red: I loved my 2007 Milano red(RIP) Wife wanted a different color this time.
Blue: Both the old blue and new blue look fantastic. This is the color I will be getting. It does look a bit darker than the old, and may have the heat/cleaning issues of black and purple
Light blue: Never liked light blues period.
Orange: Almost got my first fit in orange. The orange stands out and looks really good on this car. Thought about it this time around and decided on the blue.

After reading this thread, and the one about the Taffeta white, I realize people have some pretty strong opinions about what color they like. If you are like me, you have to get the color you really like or it will bother you for eternity.

The color code Japan uses for their Purple /Blue is different than the Black Berry Pearl color code.. the JDM fit seems to have a Redis Blue hue to it in the Day Light....

Can't decide on purple or orange. Why is it so hard?

But seriously, the purple seems a bit too feminine for a guy like me. I'll stick with (boring) black.

I forgot about Silver. That's nice too. BBP still has the edge though... it's unique.

If I was going to keep the Fit in the showroom 24/7 then BBP is my choice. It looks so nice in that picture. But once it gets out in the sun it doesn't look too nice to me. Plus it would be so hard to keep clean. Swirl marks
