How much to add cruise and remote entry to a base??

Personally, the only differences I care about in the base vs sport is:

1. Remote Entry
2. Cruise control

I can also replace the head unit any time I want. So... how much do each of these cost? Can you get the actual HONDA remote entry??

Does aftermarket cruise work well?

I am seriously considering grabbing a base, but I do need those two features!

EDIT: This would also have to cost significantly LESS than the $1500 difference between the sport and the base!!

Is the price difference that big of an importance? Grab a sport and sell the wheels for $500 and now you're probably in the price range for a good cruise control + installation and an OEM keyless entry.

Not about price, but availability.

Ahh good point. I don't know how much it would cost for cruise but I know people put in keyless for a couple hundred on the GD3s.

as far as i have seen, there is no way to easily install the sport OEM cruise system on the base model. aftermarket cruise systems are notoriously crappy. i am still researching this for my base

i purchased the OEM honda remote entry kit for $105 shipped (special from bernadiparts.com) and installed/programmed it within 30 mins. it's very simple to do

i REALLY regret purchasing a base model. cruise is essential and i have lately already started looking for the sport lip kit and decent looking wheels. a sport was not available at the time when i purchased.

The sport model is the best deal going. Just wait till it's available. You'll be glad you did.
