I just purchased a White Fit, should I put the clear mask on it?
We just purchase a WHITE sports Fit that we pre-ordered, it looks awesome!! I am now in kind of in the dilemma - should I get a clear mask or not. I am mostly concerned with the "yellowing" effect over long term, and it would show on a white car a lot WORSE than other colors.
I have researched quite a bit, and it seems like even though the material (3M, VentureShield, ClearShield) has improved a long way, there is no way to garrantee that it does not turn yellow. Some say that it is the sunlight that causes the problem. I am in Denver, CO and the car will be under the intense sunlight while parked at my work most of the time. So maybe my fit will be at even a higher risk of developing yellowing problem. On the other hand, I hate to see the front end getting chipped badly as well.
Does anyone had the clear mask for a while and would like to comment on it?
Thanks so much in advance!
