cuz Honda North America decided white wasn't a colour that Canadians wanted.
I'm so ticked off.
White was my first choice.
If any major cosmetic damages happen to my car, i'll repaint it white.

Convince them how? It'll take a lot of convincing for them to change something mid-run. Maybe the 08's will have white, but no chance of it for the 07's.

2 options, repaint or import from the states.

Due to the price discrepency between Canada and the US, if White is the deal breaker for you, look into importing the US Fit. All in all, even with the hassle and cost of importing, you could still *save* like $1000-2000 CAD overall. Repainting will just cost you a few thousand on top.

Best case scenario is white for the 08 line, which is 18 months away

That is what I'm wondering ---don't want to really spend a whole bunch more. To add white to there production runs---it should not be a problem i figure.

With the number of dealers sold out, I'm not sure they need to offer any special colours to move more Fits.

I'd be all over yellow if I was offered.

This thread makes me appreciate that I can get the Fit in white. I've been upset that we didn't get the JDM-spec stuff, but I guess it could have been worse. Hooray for white Hondas!

Type S

Reason?
I think Honda will hold on to White and Yellow for the next special Model Like (Honda Fit Type R or A-spec or Type S) on those line to compete with the 1.8 Yaris Coupe.

I think with the gloomy grey winter weather, Alabaster Silver would get lost in a snowstorm a lot faster than the perhaps-too-clean-to-be-snow Tafetta White.
