If you have the chance to repaint the Fit, what colour will you choose?
Here in Canada we do not have White and am so itching to paint it Championship White! yay or nay?

 

Might be cheaper overall to just import the US Fit from Washington? After all, after BC taxes, we ARE paying approx $4500 USD more than they are

Even after double taxation and inspections/import fees, that's still a $1-2k difference (as in, still cheaper). Plus you save the costs of painting it.

 

though I have had the car for one week+ and have bought the black and had the intention to do a colour change.

 

Ah i see. I kinda like the Taffy white, not as hot on Championship White.

If you don't mind me asking, which dealership and get any discount? I'm kinda looking around myself...

 

I placed my order with A dealer first though at that time I was not serious in getting the car and did not know the models which were coming so I ordered the top model which is the Sport. Later found out that there was a LX model then went to dealer A and they said they had no more LX model left on the first shipment so I went to dealer B which had a cancellation of a LX model. Dealer A gave me a bigger discount but I ended up buying at dealer B because I didn't need the bodykit and fogs and keyless entry and etc because all that I am planning to change anyways and have done some already. Shop around and try and see if you can get any discounts since the car has been released and I am sure that they will be start to discount them soon? Good Luck! I want to repaint it the JDM Yellow. Make everyone mistake it for a tennis ball hurtling by.......

 

I know this sounds "girlish", but I would love to have either pink or purple like they have in Japan.

 

Whatever floats your boat, switchbrdopr! Cars are an expression of the person inside and pink and purple would sure draw attention.

 

Yellow, fit-website Orange, or lime skittle green j/k about the green.

 

I would love a white fit.

I'd like to make the US base look like the Mini-- black-out the pillars, white top, and who-knows-what for the body. I tried it on photocopies from websites using magic markers & it looked interesting. I know I'll never do it with the actual car, but it was fun to fill time while waiting to purchase it.

 

Lets have a Fit Meet and if you do yours, I will do mine too!

 

The Accord used to come in a deep teal -- very dark blue/green, almost black under night lights, with a metallic sheen. I can picture the Fit in that color and it would go great with the interior. My Accord wagon is the lighter teal shade. If I were to choose one of the existing colors -- yellow!! I let the dealer know I was disappointed at the limited color choices on the Sport. Dare to dream -- instead of the garbage add on packages the dealers try to sell, how about a paint bay and color charts ala Home Depot. When your car arrives, all it has on it is primer. You mix up your own custom paint and they drive it into the bay.

 

yellow will be so nice since we dont have that in the state
