No, I didn't. Because it was asked on 10/7, I didn't think I needed to. I figured that a week later, and after multiple posts, someone would have posted up a price.

Besides, who pissed in your cheerios?

I was asking in a joking and excited matter. The waving smiley face icon didn't post because sometimes Firefox sucks, and icons and formatting don't post.

WOW! Thanks for sharing the pics--it looks factory direct. I saw the video on YouTube, but it doesn't do it justice as these photos do. Unreal; I love it.

That's hot!!!!

Any reason why you went with the dual pane sunroof, and opposed to the regular 1 pane (webasto 935 vs webasto 700)?

Great pics again!

I tried to rep u again but it said I have to spread it around more.
+ reps as soon as I can.

Webasto actually contacted us through Honda North America (who we're designing/building the car for SEMA for) and wanted to go with the dual versus the single. It didn't really matter which one we went with since either piece looks equally good.

I'm picking up my fog lights after work and installing them so I'll try to have better "complete" pictures up soon.

looks very nice, but what happened to you front dome lights.
they are missing. not even a hole there. which leads me to believe you
got a whole new roof liner.
please let us know whats the deal with this.

It's a base model, honestly I don't even remember if the car came with dome lights... anyone with a base want to chime in?

All I know is that headliner in there is the one that came with the car but was rewrapped after the opening was cut.

Here's a piece that Yahoo Finance did on the Webasto piece and our Honda Fit SEMA project as well as our Pontiac G8 and some other cars... there's also a new picture of the Fit completed. If you're good, you'll be able to find that same shot in high-res on another site.

That does indeed look very nice! I've already made up my mind to have a sunroof put in. I like the 700 model and asked for quotes from the two places nearest to me here in Tampa. One place is $1099 plus tax and the other is $1900 plus tax. The first place was personable and polite, while the second place tried to sell something to me from the start. And the guy claimed they're the only ones in all of Tampa Bay that can do it. Uh huh. I'll go with the first folks. Now to save up some pennies to do it after Christmas. Blackberry pearl with a sunroof, mmmm.

You've been repped.. Share it.
the gene, got ya too +reps

It's a feature I really was hoping would make it to the US shores on the GE8's. I'm about 90% set on it now after reading about several people already install it, and praise it, now its about picking which model sunroof. $1099 for the webasto 700 I think is a great price.

$1099 is a good deal, I was quoted $1300 for that. I'm going with the now discontinued 524 panoramic roof - which I'm getting installed for $1250 out the door. Can't wait til Monday! Hope it doesn't rain!

Yes, I was quite surprised when he gave me that price! I have to wait until after Christmas due to bills. I'll definitely post pics when I get it done though. Show us when yours is done.

Hey HONDAMATIC, I heard Webasto was going to be showing a new panoramic roof to replace the one I've put in my Fit. The rumor was it'd be installed in a Malibu... maybe the silver Chevy that's in the background of your pics. Did you see any panoramic roofs at the Webasto booth? I can't find anything online anywhere about the new model (not that I should, I don't want to regret going with the one I got... but I can't help myself).
