wow Webasto definitely has the nicest sunroof you can get for the fit... but two grand is just so much money

anyone who got one deserves madd props though

 

Has anyone seen this type of moonroof before? And he says it was installed at the dealer too. eBay Motors: Honda : Fit (item 110371721541 end time Apr-08-09 10:02:38 PDT)

 

Will one grand cover it? probably not....

 

While most of us probably would have liked the option to get a factory sunroof, I would never go aftermarket for something like that. I would not want to damage the structural integrity of the car. The Fit is small enough, God forbid I'm in a serious accident I want all the protection I can get. Who knows what adding a sunroof would mean in a serious accident. Plus I've heard horror stories of aftermarket sunroofs leaking over time, and various squeaks and rattles developing over time as well. Not worth it.

I also wonder what cutting out a piece of the roof does to the factory warranty?
