Need help on stopping email

I keep getting email when someone replies to my thread. I've tried many times unsubscribing in my User CP, but no go.

Help!

every time you respond to a thread you subscribe to it so if you want to not subscribe when you reply there should be an option to turn that off in your user cp somewhere.

Hmm. In my options I don't have anything checked as far as subscriptions. The only thing I have allowed is private messaging.

I'm lost.

no going back

Several times I've tried to delete thread subscriptions but I'm afraid it may be a bit like a relationship with the mob. No going back! Just delete them on a regular basis. Sorry, I wish I could provide a magical answer.

Hehe, that's a popular episode and saying from Seinfeld.

alright you go to your user cp then go under edit options then there should be something that says default thread subscription mode and you have a bunch of different options if you want nothing then set it for do not subscribe.

I've set it at both, not to subscribe and "no email notification", but no go. I think what the above poster said is true - once you set it, it's set there for life.

SERENITY NOW!!

just unsubscribe to your thread then resubscribe, while selecting "no email notification" the 2nd time
the setting in the user cp im assuming is options for all threads subscribed to "from now on" and dont count to threads already subscribed to

I think it's working. I think any response to past threads are still going to pop up, which is not my concern. But it looks like it's working.

Thanks for the help, all.
