Yakima Rack on '09 Fit- What Q clips?

Has anyone put a yakima rack on their '09 Fit? What Q clips do I need?

Yakima has not tested a rack on the '09 so they can't tell me what kind of Q clips I need. The '08s used the Q5 clips but I believe the roof line is different in the new model.

i am a thule rack owner, and when i got my fit two weeks ago, i went to my local kayak shop and its not in the book yet. so the lady called thule, they said about 4 weeks and the 2009 models will be out.
i think i checked for yakima too and they did not have it listed on their site yet.
but what i was thinking is that if the jazz / fit has been out for a year now (the model we just got in the states) then thule and yakima should have a fit kit already for market in europe?
but i could not find it on the thule euro site.
i want to get my kayaks out on the water!

The q-clips needed are Q99, front and rear. It looks like yakima just updated their online fitting tool. It's weird that they didn't send me an email to inform me as I requested one. Oh well, I just installed the system today and it fits and looks great.

yakima has it listed on their site as Q99 for 09 and Q5 for all previous years. Readily available everywhere. Just need Q towers and 48inch bars

I've been thinking of getting a roof rack for snowboards. Anyone have a pic? Of any rack type?

I know this info has been posted, but here is the "official" fitment I received from Yakima via e-mail a couple of days ago;

"Great news, Yakima Products now has a fit for your vehicle! That means that all your toys that have been longing to be back out in the fresh air since you got that new vehicle will soon be back on the trail, slopes or open road.
Here is your fit information:
Vehicle:HONDA Fit / Fit Sport 5drYear Range:2009 Fit Type:TopFactory Rack:None Weight Limit:125Tower/Attachment:Q Towers Required Accessory:Crossbar Length:48" CrossBars Recommended Fairing:44" FairingFront Clips:Q99 Rear Clips:Q99"

MeasurementsM1: 40 5/8

M2: 14

M3: 39 3/4

M4: 30

Notes

54.

When open, sunroof may interfere with some accessories.

55.

Caution! Proper tower balance is critical for this installation. Pay close attention to the gold slider positions and increase micro adjuster in small increments, alternating between towers until the sliders are at equal levels in relation to the hash marks on the towers. Slider positions may not be equal from one bar to the next.

114.

Caution! Check clips after installing. Grab each clip and try to pull them hard away from your vehicle. If the clip moves tighten the adjustment post. If the clip still moves, recheck your measurements between the towers and adjust if necessary. Check clip again.

152.

Rear hatch will interfere with some accessories. Use caution when opening.

180.

This fit requires the use of Q-Tower #0124. Reference page 8 of the Fit List, or the image above (if online), to confirm your Q-Towers. Contact customer service if you have questions.
