I've been trying to find a Sport with Manual Transmission in Oregon and am having no luck. I have a deposit on one with a build date of Oct. 23 (after originally being told Oct. 10),but I'm tired of waiting.

However, one dealer had 5 automatics in stock and offered to "make me a screaming deal." I don't know if it's against forum rules to post the name of the dealer here. If it's ok, I'd be happy to post the info for anyone interested.

 

Bit of pain finding a manual in Oregon, isnt it?! I had been looking for a while, but have one coming in soon thru Tonkin. Build date of 9/29. I'm pretty stoked.

 

Oregon is too far from me.

If this was in Seattle or something then I'd make the drive down across the border for it. Its been a bitch trying to get a damn white 09 fit sport in automatic here.

 

Auto trader search showed a white sport Manual Navi in Everett.. a day or two ago...

 

The dealer I was referring to is Sunwest in Newport, OR. I think they might have a white sport auto. There's no sales tax in Oregon...

Nobody seems to have a Sport manual in Oregon. I've called everywhere. The one I have on order isn't even my first choice in color...

 

As I noted on the other Oregon thread, I put down a deposit on one in May and my Blackberry Pearl Sport MT arrived at Kendall on Sept 11. I never asked whether they ordered it, dealer-traded it, or just found it on top of a truck that pulled in. Perhaps they went to more trouble that I thought!
