When the 1st set of pics leak of the 09 I saw on Vtec, I didn't even feel the 09 at all and I thought it was ugly just in the pics and it didn't do it for me but when I saw one driven past me and when I actually take a closer look at one of the dealer a couple of weeks ago, it began to grew on me so pics doesn't do it for the 09 but if you drive one and look at one in person I think your opinion may change. Now onto the good stuff, got my 09 BSP FitS on Sat. 10/18/08 for $18080 comes w/ wheel locks, pin stripes and nose bra free of charge. I was going to trade in my 07 Bom FitS for it but my parents decided to take it off me so I financed the 09 out right w/0 down and $500 of MSRP yes, you heard that right without going into details but I was a returning customer they had the special sale event where they was expecting to sell 50 Hondas with special financing and so forth basically I bought in another dealer into the mix and give them some competition and they want to sell cars so after it was home, the very next day I install the Works Bell QR/Hub and Personal wheel coming off my TSX just to see if it work and it fits perfectly and looks like it comes like that from the factory, for those that looks to go aftermarket steering wheels, do yourself a favor just get the Works Bell as it is the only way to go and yes it cost alot more but it save you alot of times and install is plug&play as oppose to those NRG hub/QR. Let me also set the record straight to those that saids the BSP doesn't look as good as the VBP on the 1st gen Fit and the shade of blue on the BSP is darker all I gotta say is after a good wash and when the sun hits at the paint that is where it really shines and you can see the metallic look in the paint, pics doesn't do the BSP no justice. I prolly going back to stock cause I missed the voice command for the Navi on the steering wheel. Onto some of my comparison to the 1st gen Fit that I notices, 1st thing was that the 09 is more rommier than the 07 which is a good thing for me w/2 of my babies I need space, and it is definitely more refined for sure as the seats felt heck of alot more comfy and as far as handling goes I felt no difference but a slight advantage goes to the 09 as the chasis was designed to be more rigidity as expected. I love the pair of vanity lights on the 09 on the headliner this is a + and I absolutely love the Navi. Last thing but not the least I see people that do a comparision between AT/MT to me personally there is no comparison if you can get a MT, please do it is just more fun and you can defintely felt the little power increase and you gotta love Hondas MT as this is the 2nd MT I have owned and it shift like butter no complains there and I don't see a need for an aftermarket shifter on the 09, as I felt it was pretty good and short. Nope not looking to sell it at all I will go back to the stock wheel I'm just test fit it to see how it would look.
