How bad is the color difference? I noticed in the pics that it doesn't completely match the stock interior.

when I stopped to talk to my local dealer I asked if they could get the fit accessories and the part guy just looked at me and said "do they have any extra parts for that car." I asked for the armrest and hatch cover to be installed before pick up. The guy was like "what do you know they do make accessories."

I'm pretty good with motor installs but I don't want to even scratch my interior so the free install on accessories before drive out sounded like a hell of an idea.

I'm having a hard time rationalizing a $200 purchase on an armrest for my passenger.

How can you talk me into spending the dough when the economy is in the crapper.

For those w/ OEM center console: is the covered storage area big enough for a box of tissue? I am not talking about those tiny pocket sized tissues, but a standard rectangular or square boxed tissue from Kleenex or Puff or something like that?

If it does fit, then it's worth for me to get it. I have bad allergies and a box of tissue is the first "accessory" that goes into my car, along w/ a garbage bag for the dirty tissue. :-/

No it is not big enough standard sized box, not even close.

I can emphathize with your allergy issues, but you might try this. A daily rinse does wonders.

Any pics? Also is the plastic a closer match to the stock interior plastic?

Got mine yesterday, installed this morning, straight forward install, took about 30 minutes with the wife giving a hand.

Here's the console prior to installing it back in, a pretty close match to the stock plastic. More of a very dark charcoal gray than pure black than I first thought when I opened the box.

The leather pad on the flip-up lid is a lot darker than it appears in pictures. I think that is because it is more reflective and the flash makes it appear lighter than it really is. In person it is almost black, definitely not medium gray as shown in other users' pictures. I wonder if the console comes in two colors, one for Base and one for Sport, although there is no indication of that when ordering.

They look kind of the same to me. I was about to order one but if there is a darker one out there I might wait. Is there any chance of getting a better picture?

Sorry, only got my camera phone at this time. The top picture with the console out of the car is much more representative of the true color since the flash wasn't so close. Maybe I'll try a daytime shot to see if it comes in better.

Not even close, this one only mounts in the existing cup holder and looks pretty cheap. The factory version has brackets under the cup holder for a more secure fit, includes hardware to cap off the drivers armrest when removed, and the top slides forward for shorter drivers who need the seat moved up.

Look at the eBay seller name -- this is Zetaproducts.net selling their unit. (Interestingly, the eBay price is much less than the price on their web site.)

The web site has additional photos, including one with the armrest open. It appears to have a coin holder, which is something Honda's armrest lacks.
