How much for 07-08 trade?

I've seen several posts from 07 or 08 owners trading theirs for an 09, but I forgot what thread.

Those who traded in their 07/08s how much did the dealer pay for your trade?

Thanks a bunch!

I would only trade in my 08 for an 09 if I could do a real-deal swap and just continue paying off what I already owe.

I didn't trade mine in, but I went in just to get an estimate for kicks. They offered me about 12k-13k for my 07 Fit with about 6k miles on it. Hope this helps :]

Your estimate seems more what I would expect from the dealers. Seems kinda low though with that few miles.

Well at first I was going to trade in my 07 FitS with 32K miles and I wanted atleast $13.5 for it knowing that my car was hit by a deer but it didn't show on carfax so I play along, when they appraise it by their Honda used car department they told me that my car was in an accident and they literally told me what was done to the car and I was shock. They would of gave me my asking price if it wasn't involved in an accident or if the work was done by them. So they offered me $12k for it+$500 off the 09MSRP. I would think they would atleast sold the car for $15K+ easily with the Fit.

Sell it yourself. I would think a used Fit would be an easy car to unload, and you could probably get at least another $1000, if not more.

those are good estimates. i have pondered doing the same, but the GE still hasn't grown on me. Plus, i owe less than 5k on mine. no payments FTW!

'scuse me for barging in on your thread but my 09 Navi gets here tomorrow (for the last month!). Anybody had experience with eBay? My Red 08 needs a new home.

Why are you selling your 08?

Lol, not really. I was just wondering if you had problems with the 08 or didn't like it for some reason.

No problems at all! In fact the '09's going to have to be pretty good to separate me from the '08.

After my mom and dad (who have an 07 Sport AT) spent some time and driven my 09, they immediately wanted to trade in their 07 for an 09. My dad has reservations about losing any money on the trade. He doesn't want to sell privately.
