Red face Buying a Fit ?

I need your opinion before buying my first fit. The salesman offer me the OTD is $18,700. With this price, this car come with Tinted windows, floor mats, wheel lock, cargo tray & Cargo cover. And this car already has 40 miles on it. Is it a good price for this car?

Thanks much

So it's just the regular fit right? Not the sport.

Have you gone to the dealership yet? Or was this all over the phone?

If he offered this price in person, do it! It's an awesome price. But keep in mind, $18700 OTD for a Fit Sport is under MSRP and you're also getting all those options. So don't be lured. Good luck with your purchase though!

Edit: 2009 Fit Sport right?

I went to the dealership today. Yes, the price is for 2009 Fit Sport
What do think about this car has 40 miles on it? Is it high for a new car?
And How many miles on your car when you purchased yours?
Thanks

If they're offering all those goodies and the price you got was the OTD price, I would jump on it. Good find!

40 miles is alright. Nothing that you should worry about.

I got my car at 20 miles but that also includes the 5 miles of test drive that I put in.

Is this for the automatic transmission? If it is, it is a damn good price. I was told by an Orange County Calif dealer that I can get this model for $18,700 OTD with manual transmission with the all season floor mats, cargo cover shelf style, cargo tray and alloy wheel locks.

It comes with tinted windows. Are you opting for the darker tint?

I got mine for 17268 OTD with no accessories.
you can get those accessories for about 350 at collegehillshonda.com, and get tints for about 250-300.

the major thing that will vary in OTD pricing between states, is the tax you pay up front. i paid 300$ here in SC.
what is it in Cali?

Sales tax here in Orange County Ca is 7.75% and registration is 2% of value.

That is because most of the Finance guys get paid based upon on a draw against commission for the products they sell and finance deals they make. And they get some good spifs for the sales of certain items like the add-on alarm and paint / seat treatment.
