aftermarket radio

Hi all, new to this forum. This will be my second post so please forgive me if I posted in the wrong place. I just recently bought a 2009 fit sport without navi, but I hate the way the radio looks. I want to upgrade to a double din aftermarket unit (alpine). I know they don't make a radio kit yet, so I went and bought the radio bezel for the navi. It looks like its going to work great. My question: Does anyone know the part # for the radio bracket that attaches to the bezel and the chassis of the car to hold the radio in place? I went on www.bernardiparts.com and looked under parts for a 2009 fit with navi to see if it existed, which it does, but there is no part#. Any help would be great. Thanks in advace!

To help better understand go to:www.bernardiparts.com and click on parts. select 2009 fit with navi
then look under electrical/exhaust/heater/fuel
then click on navigation system.

the part im looking for is the picture to the right of the navigation unit.

No link to it though?

I searched and couldn't find it. I know there is a thread but not sure where. I don't understand replacing it with an aftermarket head unit; every aftermarket head unit I have seen looks out of place--never the right color etc.

Which one are you looking at using?

where I work we are an authorized alpine dealer and get good pricing. Im thinking of going with the IVA-W505 double-din multimedia head unit. Which has navigation functions, ipod/video, etc. Thats why I'm trying to use the 09 fit navi bezel so it doesn't look too out of place and a double-din unit to fill the opening. The factory unit looks to flat and plain(cheap)! I think the factory navi is an alpine unit. Here's a link:http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...model=IVA-W505. I think the finish on the alpine units are pretty close in color. It will blend in pretty well.

Did you ever compete this project? I'm interested in installing aftermarket NAV in my 09. I've read the other thread, but people seem to be having problems not being able to find a wiring harness. Any help?
