color suggestions please

been browsing through here for days and notice how many people have the SSM. in honesty its the color most attractive to me too. would it be a little more uncommon to purchase a BSP or a TBM?

do colors affect resale value at all?

as for resale value, if i was a car salesman, i would only pay more if the color is rare maybe 10 years down the road, that is if the fit would be any interest at all. whats wrong wit a paint job can always go with maroon ;]

Most colors won't effect resale value, but there are colors that will certainly hurt your chances of getting top dollar--- non-metallic shades of puke green, puke pink, mauve, brown, etc would be examples. If your car is pink, count on buyers who are either female or ghey, which rules out over 40% of the buying public.

Fortunately, none of the above shades are available on the '09 Fit. Unlike some manufacturers, Honda has done their homework.

just go with whatever color you think makes your fit look good. the resale with the fit is already at an amazing level so dont worry about that.

don't worry about resale no such thing on a car like this.
just get what you like.
the only other thing i would consider is upkeep.
all depending on the color you buy says how hard
it's going to be. get black and it's very hard.
get silver and it's very easy. just my .02

god luck with your choice. whatever it maybe you'll
like it.

If you like SSM the most, then get it. Who cares what everyone else has. I had a hard time choosing too.. I ended up making my salesman pull up several different colored Fits next to each other so that I could better compare them. Personally I chose SSM because I felt it emphasized the Fit's sexy curves and aggressive styling the most. It also helped that SSM was the only color they had with MT!

i've been a white car person, but the 09 silver and black are growing on me! i'd still go with white in an 09 if i was to get one.
i like my tw 07 and it's even more rare because they only made the usdm tw in 07

I bought the Sport MT in blue sensation-- a favorite for me since it's a metallic pearl shade of blue that I'd always wanted. It's also not a color that will ever "go out of style."

As for these cars selling no matter what the color, that's very true. Most who, in the future, will consider buying a used '09 Fit will look for their preferred color but gladly settle for whatever looks like the best deal, period. So no matter which color you choose for your fit, you'll have no trouble getting as good a price for it as for the next color when it comes time to sell.

But again, this is because the fit is not available in any truly ugly colors. If it were, I'm sure that a potential used car buyer on the dealer's lot would pass over that vomit-green '09 Fit in favor of the '09 blue Yaris or white Versa.

thanks everyone. I have decided on SSM today and I have some dealers willing to deal with me on this sport model they have in stock. I've gotten quotes today of 16,975 plus tax, tag, and title and 17,000 respectively. They both were willing to throw in the all season mats at this price too. I feel like i'm getting a great deal.

Probably will be buying tomorrow or Wednesday!!

There is pink available in Japan! Although, they call it 'cool rose metallic.' I kinda like the other white they have, 'premium white pearl.'

Honda | クルマ | フィット | 色

I chose TW...
