If your interested I could always do a custom one for you which would include purchasing a new one and debadging that with fiberglass, then leveling the surface. Let me know what you think bud!

HAPPY THANKS GIVING GUYS

i found a pic on another thread

NOTICE the thickness top to bottom of just the panel it's like 3.75" on the GE and like 4.25" on the GD
I can take a pic of them side by side when i get to work on monday
also on ALL 09 fits the panel comes painted gloss black only (07-08 fits the panel came color matched to the car) so some people might like a color matched 09 badgeless panel!!!!

funny you should say that the mirrors are completely different

honda has for years and years been known to make a 4 year run on specific body style (ie 86-89 accord= same body style then 90-93 accord= same body style 88-91 civic= same body style them 92-95 civic= same body style) then for some reason they changed it up in the late 90's and went to a 5 year plan on most models (s2000 and element has remained the same for the most part it's whole lifespan) but it's mostly 5 years!!!
then came the fit to north america in early 06 as a 07 model and the entire aftermarket scene tooled up to take the fit to the next level when it came to style and performance (the entire sema show that year in november was, fit this, fit that, fit fit fit! then honda made the huge mistake (IMO) and introduced a completely redesigned model (3 years early) and basically tells the billion dollar AM industry to f**k off. did you see the sema show this year? almost completely VOID of honda fits, why? i think (imo) AM is still pissed that they spent money tooling up for a great (5 year) run on fit parts and accessories just to see it go down the drain
i love my hondas and really love the fit, i'm glad to see you take an interest in them and think there is still a huge oppertunity for you since the fit has basically remained the same all over the world from 02 - 08 so there are tons of fit owners that still want to make their fit unique, we just need to get things like this on the streets so to speak.
keep us posted (especially me since you still have my org panel)

p.s. for all the people that get mad that i criticize honda, i realize they have the right to sell, design, etc. whatever they want, and i have the right to buy something else if i see fit <--no pun intended - i will always own hondas!! they are still the standard other companies aim for in my opinion

Nicely said brotha! I decided to focus my attention on hondas right now since they are the most popular and most reliable. Im trying to see what other ideas is good for the fit but mainly right now Im just working on the badgeless garnishes since its the main focus right now.

I made one mold already but I need to make a second one as a backup just in case, then Ill move onto dewipering the garnish. Ill have pics this week.

If anybody wants to order PM me. Im waiting for orders guys!

Good news! Great news guys! Today fitcapo came over to test fit the garnish and so we can make a mold of his hatch so that every garnish can be test fitted for perfection. Everything went better then planned. The scrap prototype (The prototype model that is made just to test the mold and then thrown out) fits near perfectly, edges align just right, and the only problem with that was the sides werent super flush only because I didnt shave the sides to be thinner only because it was a prototype and it didnt have to be perfect. The mold of his hatch went 10x better than expected and now each garnish that is made will be test fitted and assured that the studs will fit in the holes perfectly.

All in all a very good day, much progress, the garnishes are ready to sell since we are know assured that the mold is ready to use for production, and hopefully when he has time he will post pictures. He took several pictures of the progress and fitment.

If anybody would like to order Id have your garnishes out by early next week.

Production starts Thursday and it would take 2 - 3 days to have a garnish completed, 4 - 5 days for completion of a painted one.

CF will be available as well.
