How does ordering a painted piece work? Just let you know what our paint color is?

He would need to know the color of your car.

Also it looks like by your username that you have an 09 fit. He doesn't have a piece for the 09 fit yet.

I was under the impression these were for the GE8! Oh well. Remove me from the list I guess until there is a version for the 09.

And there will be an 09 version. After talking to fitcapo yesterday when he came down I realized that Im super late to the fit party of creating parts. So I need to jump on the 09 before everybody else does haha.

no man, make everything for GD3s first! Ugh I hate how GE8 is getting all the attention from companies now. Pisses me off.

GD3 is for the 03/08? I already have the garnish ready for the 03/08 and I might start making a badgeless front grill.

oh shit dude badgeless grille YES! I have a ricer grille unpainted sitting in my closet that I haven't put on yet. I'd rather have a clean grille just without the center piece for the H. J's Racing grille is ugly to me because of that stupid rectangle piece.

then came the fit to north america in early 06 as a 07 model and the entire aftermarket scene tooled up to take the fit to the next level when it came to style and performance (the entire sema show that year in november was, fit this, fit that, fit fit fit! then honda made the huge mistake (IMO) and introduced a completely redesigned model (3 years early) and basically tells the billion dollar AM industry to f**k off.
the 1st gen body style has been around for about 7 1/2 years. i don't blame them for wanting to blow the next ugly subcomp Scion had to offer out of the water. 7 1/2 years!!!! i like that the 1st gen Fit became a bit of a "boutique" piece for Honda, and that it only sold for two years. parts and assembly all from Japan! it makes the GD3 that much more special. and in the "big 3" slump, i feel very confident on the road.

When I was down by ikona in chi town I asked him if he would be able to do anything with my sporte grille. Like taking out the "H" and making it flat. I told him I would like to just make it a single piece now a one of a kind thing and if people really dig it and are interested in buying something like that then I would be more than happy to let him get his hands back on it so he can make molds.

tell ikona to trade in that scion of his on an 09 fit, oh wait - not till he makes all the cool stuff for the GD's ha ha - on second thought maybe he could get a killer deal on a GD now that the new bodystyle is out, then in a year or two trade up to a GE, that'll give us GD owners a leg up since mugen is introducing crap (for lack of a better word, cuz i LOVE mugen) in the spring to keep GE lovers content!
just my $.02

fitcapo I forgot when you're getting your piece? I'm thinking about paypalling ikona or waiting. If the same thing that happened to the scion guys happens to me, I'll hate myself.
