I am looking at 16 x 7" rims but want to go up a size on tire to 195. Will that be too wide for the 16 x 7? What is the stock sport 16" width?

 

with 7 inch wide rims i think you can go up to 215

So I guess I could go up to 205 with a 7" width rim.

 

I think people have done 17x7.5 with a 205/40 and even in one case with a 43 off(although it stuck out a bit), I have a 45 off at 17x7.5 and I'd like to do 215, but the jury is still out on if it will rub...so far I have 2 votes that it will and two votes it wont.... , one vote is from a pretty good wheel seller in AZ that thinks but does not guarantee it will work.
