Hidden 6th gear on Fit Sport?

yeah that's why i dont like autos... the feeling is mushy and not attentive or "zippy".. haha

jk i drove an auto fit and i actually really liked it! It was a base too! auto sport prolly would have been super fun

Mahout, I'm not meaning to argue...think I told you before, the A/T guy at a Dodge garage where I worked in my youth was viewed as the Witch Doctor...weird stuff in auto trannies, and weirder now that Hal has a word in it.

Yeah, me too. I'm not an auto transmission expert; I'm just 'reading' the diagrams. Note the reading in quotes. It just looks like the rpm change matches 5th to 4th and back. The rpm change wouldn't be so consistent from the locking/unlocking but I really don't know for sure. cheers.

If it weren't for a small matter that my bride can't manage a third pedal, I'd go back to manual trannies, just because. Love the one in the Jeep, tho' it ain't exactly a thing of beauty. Never felt the need for stringback gloves when driving it....
