what air filter you are using?

i've been waiting for a k&n replacement style air filter but it seems not to be available yet. i was wondering if there's any aftermarket air filter (like k&n one) out there in the market so i can put it in my GE8.

thanks for sharing.

it's true that most of aftermarket drop in filters are more expensive than the stock filter. but these filters can be cleaned by some kinds of chemical liquid and use it for almost 100k miles. i believe in a long run we might spend less.

JDM_DOHC_SiR..where did you get this filter? i've checked mugen official website but everything came with japanese. did you place your order in us website? please let me know.

well, considering ive been modding cars for a while ive had my
share of experience with drop-in filters. they aren't really worth
anything unless you live in real dusty areas where you need to
change your air filter in shorter intervals than wat the owner's
manual suggests.

and yes, the chemicals is usually just a oil cleaner and a spray.
i have several kinds of cleaners and sprays in my garage for cone
type filters both the KN type and the foam types. as far as CAI's...
it's worth getting if it's designed right (ie: H-Fit).

drop-ins for stock boxes.... naah. seriously... spend your money
elsewhere.
