What engine options is avaiable for the GE 08 Fit?
It is probably diffrent for each region, so list what option you have in your area.

In Norway (and probably rest off Europe too), there is two engine options:
1.2 i-VTEC (90Hk) or 1.4 i-VTEC (100Hk)

And the 1.4 you get in 4 diffrent packages here in Norway:Not sure what all those abbrivations stands for yet, but
ACC = Automatic Climate Control
VSA = Vehicle Stability Assist

I was at the dealer today (as they have got the first new '09 Jazz in and I had to put me up in a list to test drive it as soon as it gets out from the shop after the voyage up here) and the one I was talking to said there was a third option in Japan: a 1.7L VTEC engine! And he also said it was probably the same engine that was in the CRV.... I have no other information about it.
Does anybody else have some information about it?

 

I doubt it... most of us are in the US and would not know much about foreign ones.

 

the only one in canada and the states is a 1.5L ivtec with 117hp, but everywhere else where the fit/jazz is sold i think there is the option for a 1.3L with 98hp and the 1.5L with 117hp, but dont quote me on it because i'm not 100% sure, im trying to find something with a list of powertrains in the 09's

 

GD1: 1.3 L L13A I4 engine 2WD
GD2: 1.3 L L13A I4 engine 4WD (Japan only)
GD3: 1.5 L L15A I4 engine 2WD
GD4: 1.5 L L15A I4 engine 2WD (Canada and United States only)
GD5: 1.5 L L15A I4 engine 4WD (Japan only)
GD6: 1.2 L L12A I4 engine 2WD (Europe only)
GE3: 1.4 L L13A I4 engine 2WD (2007 UK model. Made in China)

 

most of those are gd though i found that on wikipedia too
