You ever see AAA tow guys try to get a lowered car on a towtruck? My old neighbor and my lil bro have lost front bumpers, and the tow guy isn't liable for damage. All tow companies make you sign somethin that they aren't responsible.

Killer DIY tho, especially for maintaining the spare. I love the infinity Q shape controls on their amps, but to save space you may want to check the JBL digital monoblock sup amps, That's what I have in my accord, and it BUMPs, under 1 sq ft footprint too.

Really?
I've never had trouble with AAA tow guys.
Lowered Civic, lowered RSX, lowered Accord, and well... s2k's already low from stock.

doesn't AAA take like 2 hours to get out there to you?
I think I've heard of this before from people complaining about
it.
I'll just keep my spare and my buddies business card in case
i need a quick tow.

when they get there, i just tell them i pushed the car out of the middle of the road.

I always use flatbeds whenever possible, but they get bitchy about sending one out. The fork ones suck, always causing damage.

VERY CREATIVE IDEA~ For a second I thought you are gonna use the sub as a spare tire in the case of a flat~

If only I was as creative as you, I wouldnt have make a custom BOX. ADD REP FOR YOU~ \o/\o/\o/

Just an update... Progress on mine has slowed significantly because I got laser vision surgery last Mon. Not really allowed to do much (this is the first time I've gotten on FitFreak since then). Hoping to continue work this weekend, will include pics.

ive been doin the same exact thing but im putting two 12 inch shallow mount pioneers. instead of cutting in to the floor cover i just took it out completely and replaced it with carpeted plywood thats cut out to fit. the way it looks at yours it doesnt look secure enough just sitting in the spare. i built a box that surrounds the subs and im goin back to the drawing board to see what two 10's and a 15 would look like or look into fiberglassing to come out the sides where those small compartments are.

A few more pictures

Here are a few more pictures of my sub box that fills the spare tire storage area. I also built a "shelf" that covers the entire trunk are that allows me to still fill the trunk with stuff and not damage the sub or amp but also provides adequate ventilation (can takes some pics and post if anyone wants to see).

I was seriously thinking this. It's as if you read my mind.
I happen to have extra material and i was think to make a couple
to sell. Currently i think i have enough for two more but i'm not
100% sure yet till i finish with mine.
..

Well you all could go JDM with it and get the puncture kit. My Fit didn't come with a spare and instead has a puncture kit under the board. Saves some weight also since you are adding some with your sub, amp and enclosure.
