Its been a while since ive posted up, but earlier i called progress technology (the suspension company) and I was checking up on some supsension parts for the GE8 and when the lady checked on the info, she came back and asked me if I lived in Cali, So i told her "NO" and she said, "we are looking for a 09 fit for R&D but you dont live in cali, are you on any of the forums?" i said "FITFREAK.NET" and then she said "well if you post a thread on there, that we are looking for a car to do the Resarch & Devlopment it might speed up the process"

Well, AP, I live in CA. Unfortunately, Progress needs a '09 Fit Sport owner who lives in Southern CA. I don't. But here is more good news. I ordered the first one, even though it doesn't exist yet. While I talked with Michelle at Progress, she created the part number for the supplemental RSB- it is 62 1061.

Now, if somebody will make an appointment to have their car measured, they will actually make the bar.

 

Shouldn't be too hard to find someone with a GE8 in southern California! Hopefully they come up with something soon!

With a join date of '08, that someone probably was not you. Whoever it is, thanks!!! I (we) owe you. I told Michelle that I would be happy to test even a prototype bar. If is too strong or too weak, I will ship it back at my expense. I want more stiffness in the rear than the stock anti-sway bar provides. How much more? I don't know yet. But I will pay to find out. The original RSB for 1st. Gen. Fits was spectacular in its value for dollar of cost. I want to see the same value and performance for the new model Fits.
