So what all is out aftermarket-wise for these cars so far? I've looked on my usual sites (JHP/JDMLand/Password/etc.) and haven't really found anything.

If you like jdm.
as for performance, PRM has/had CAI and Tanabe has springs, but not to much else at the moment. We are all waiting... There has been a couple of companyies on FF looking for test cars.

oem stuff is collegehillshonda and bearnadi (sp)

Thanks for the info!

Well, good news! I've put a $100 deposit down for a TW '09 Sport! The evening I went to order it, this past Monday, the dealer said they had a line on one that was just starting production and could get it if I wanted it. So I did! They said it'll be to me about this time next month. Really pumped & anxious!

Just looking at financing still; Honda approved me for 6 years, which i'll most likely do due to my income, but 9% financing, so i'm gonna try to not have to do that, toooo much! But if it comes down to it, i'll take the 9% and re-finance in a year or so if I can.

Congrats! I like that blue but my '91 Civic is white, i've had it for close to 6yrs, since I was in High School, and the white has just grown on me.... Had to have it!

How far are you willing to go? I bought a white Sport MT no-Nav off the dealer lot in Raleigh around 2/7. Selling price was slightly under MSRP, after manipulating the numbers. Google the Honda dealers in Raleigh and Durham - the main ones tend to list a large inventory online. They have "online specialists" so they would probably give you a firm quote by phone/email. Be sure ask for the out-the-door/drive-away price so that no magic math works its way into the quote after you drive down.

It might be worth the 3.5 hour drive. (I grew up in Asheville, so I travel that route fairly often - straight shot down I-40).

Got my VIN for the car yesterday, they said it should be about 20 more days till I get it, give or take a few.

If they have the VIN, what stage is the car most likely in? Does that mean its made it across the pacific now or what??

Nice choice. When mentioning the transmission type, it's better the call it a Manual or MT. Calling it a "5 speed" isn't clear because the automatic has 5 speeds too.

Hang in there with the waiting...

Thank ya. I'm just used to calling it a 5 speed lol, the dealer knew what I was talking about...just depends maybe on what part of the world you're in haha.

Do you know anything about my question in my previous post?

I don't really know. It would seem to me that it could be being built right now. Ask your dealer, he might be in a better position to know.

I see that you're going from the '91 Civic to the 2nd gen Fit. Very similar to me (see my sig). You won't regret it!

Take that VIN, and do a search on Carfax or some other VIN checking sites. If it comes up with all the info, it's built and is on the process of being delivered here

I'll check with the dealer and see what he says then, thanks!

Yeah haha, going from one extreme to the other for sure! I love my civic eternally, and its not going anywhere, but it needs a lot of TLC right now, and daily driving it is keeping me from being able to give it the attention it needs & deserves, so getting the fit is a good thing for the civic, as well!

Not to keep reviving an old thread, but I spoke with one of the manager's at the dealer today about my Fit. He said that they've recieved the shipment slip so the car will definitely be there by this time next week, if not before. Sooo excited!
