point of referrance when you are parking!
I am having little trouble finding out where my car is @ in relation to other cars. Because I cannot see the front of the car when I am inside (can't see the hood), so I was just wondering do you have have any tips? so I won't "get too close" with the car in front of me?

I usually wait til I can count the bugs on their hood. lol. I just look at the front wheel of the car next to me, then guess to where i shoud stop. But when in doubt, we can park three feet away and still not worry about back end sticking out.

I do that and it works for me. but I'm fitless, so double check with another person.

I just pretend I'm in my old Civic and I usually have plenty of space. When backing out of a space with cars on either side I find I can start turning the wheel alot sooner than I usually do. Basically if the end of the other car while backing out is halfway past the hood I'm fine. It was funny the first time I parallel parked though, I thought the space was too small then when I finished parking I had so much room.

I corrected that now because i only back up into parking spots and i actually open my door and look back while im backing up. I use my backup lights that shine on the floor as a limit point. The bumper creates a nice horizontal line for me to see when to stop. It has NEVER failed on me.

I find when reversing that the boss on the rear wiper is actually the rearmost extremity.
That means I can theoretically back up to a wall until it is inches away always assuming I don't need to open the tailgate!)
I just need to watch out for those low obstacles that are just outside your line of sight. Backed another car into one of those once...
The front is tricky. Still getting used to mine and our OZ ones are even shorter.
