So I was replacing the license plate bulbs because one of my LED lights went out for it and as I was taking the left one out I heard a snap and then something rattle down into the rear hatch panel. It doesn't snap back into place now. I found the replacement part on Berhnardi but it kinda sucks since it's only the second time I've taken it off and it snaps like that.

Just a warning to be a little more gentle with it.

Have you broken anything on your Fit?

 

Was it cold outside by chance ? And second time replacing it? What kind of LEDs did you put in the first time?! :P

 

Haven't broken anything per se, but my dog put a hole in the gasket around the rear driver's side door. Careful with those claws!

 

I've taken that thing out probably 10 times now...I bet you it had to do with the weather. Mine's still intact and perfect.

 

Yeah it was pretty cold this morning. Damn. Oh well, ordering the part next week and better bulbs from superbrightleds. The LED's I used were free so I'm not worried about those, just put the stock bulbs back in.

 

Sorry to hear about your injury, did not break mine but will be gentle in the future... and I have broke the fog lens... DOH! for me too!

 

There's something rattling in my rear hatch as well - probably a screw or nut. It's been like that since I got it though. I'm assuming the dealership dropped something in there when they were screwing on the tag.

Don't think I can get it out.
