Hey there
I'm pretty new here, don't currently own a Fit but am considering getting
one. I remember seeing a study last year that something like 80% of the
people that bought 08' Fits were female. I'm male and a little apprehensive
about buying a "chick car". Though, I really like the car a lot
and by the time I'm done with exterior mods I think it'll be damn sexy.

I don't think you will get an accurate measure here since this is a car enthusiast forum and it's mostly guys here. Don't worry about what others think of you and your car, not everyone will have the same taste. What matters is what you want.

 

You could look at it this way. Any man who drives one of these rather than, say a Ford F250 is secure in his masculinity and needs no compensation.

by "chick's car" you must mean you get all the females! Since all females prefer to sit in my car over my friend's tC even if they have to sit in the trunk..

 

Ya, I've been browsing this forum for a little while and kind of figured it was mostly guys here. It makes since. And you are right, all that matters is what I want.

I had like thirty people call my car "cute." I get so mad in a good way.

 

Lol there is no such thing as a female or a male car wit the Fit... It's everyone's car!!!

 

I like my cute 09 Fit base, except the side profile, the front end for the USDM is stretched and a bit odd. The international Jazz version is cuter imo. I've had a female friend say she isn't usually impressed with sporty cars, but really likes mine, she's a bit eclectic, so it could be that too

 

so far, not one person has said that my car is a "chick car." i think its all about what color you get also. i have a '09 BSP W/ Navi. i was thinking about getting ORM because i like the color but when i was about to sign all the finance paper work, a REAL CHICK came in to buy a fit also n she wanted ORM w/o navi because she like the color. so i began to talk to her n she gave me some advice. she said that i wouldn't look good in an ORM, so we walked the lot, saw BSP n she was like this is a good color.

now i totally agree with her. I love the BSP. again dude i think its totally based on the color of the car not what the actually model of the car is.

Except toyota celica, that is a "CHICK CAR"

I could care less what all the hicks with their V8's and trucks in Ohio think about me.

They are all the ones on welfare because they spend all their money on gas.

Plus the fact they are all trying to compensate for smaller regions.
