New FIT
...just bought a 09 FIT Sport w/NAVI Milano Red. Got a decent deal (200 under MRSP + carpeted floor mats and door sills). Looking at a couple of mods:
1. Sirius - going to my local audio shop and see what they can do about installing a Sirius radio. They did a very professional job back in 04 when I bought my 05 Chevy Silverado.
2. Auto-Dim mirror - This may take more research. I've done some reading here. Ran into the same sort of situation when I added it to my Mazda MX-5. Ended up buying a Mazda auto-dim (made for another model) and then have my local Mazda service do the install. Looks great. Looking for any tips form the forum.
I'll post some pic later this week. Looking forward to being a part of the forum.

update....let me first say the pics are coming. Been busy trying to nail down the mods I mentioned. Should be able to snap a few by this weekend. Weather might warm up also.
Sat radio - Went with a Starmate 5 (PNP) using the aux port. Sits nice near the gear shifter. Power from the cig lighter. Kept it simple and cheap. The pro guy wanted to try a Honda/Accura Sirius interface which didn't work. Ended up at Best Buy and out in about 2 hours. They put the antenna on the passenger side dash. Work fine.
Auto Dim - I'm gong to suspend this for the time being. The Navi has the compass and I can go back to flipping the paddle on the mirror at night if i have too. Did get one of those Bell outside temp thingy from Walmart. Ran the sensor to the driver door hinge area. Was able to tuck all the wires up and out of sight. We'll see how long it last.
