what are those blanks for...
...on the hvac controls? from memory, so may not be accurate, but there is the one curved black decal thingy on the fan speed knob i believe and the circular one in the middle of one of the other 3 knobs.

question is, what options are these covering for?

it's just design otherwise something would have been there.
