Sunroof question for 2009 Fit

I'm looking at getting a new car before I go off to college and the 2009 Honda Fit seems to be the perfect fit (hehe), but there's no sunroof option.

Right now I have been looking to get a Fit sport with navigation and I was wondering what my options are for sunroofs. After reading the forums, I would really want a panoramic sunroof but I can't find them online and don't know of any shop near me that installs/sells sunroofs.

Anyone from the Houston area know of a place?

Does anyone have a cost estimate?

and is it safe? (compromise roof, leaks, etc.)

Recommendations other than panoramic?

Just generally any info possible please...even if all this is possible there's still the issue of convincing my parents

Thank you for any help

The JDM fit got the panaromic sunroof, the US specs have none.

I would not get an aftermarket sunroof installed. Most of the jobs I've seen are a hackjob and you may run into issues in the future.

Leaking, rust, compromise the structural ridgitiy of it.

If you have to have a sunroof then get a Civic.

I got mine at McDavid down in friendswood pasadena area. I45 exit 34 I think. I don't think there is panaromic sunroof, but they have good deal there. You can go there and ask for Jason, Lawrance. They are the one helped me get my fit. Oh yea, my name is Wei(way) Jason n Lawrance know me pretty well after I bought my car from them lol. Really nice guys.

One more thing bout the sunroofs. I don't think you should get it even with the aftermarket. Because you don't need me tell you Houston weathers O_O. the hail is pretty scary.

But the pictures on the forums look good and the Civic gets way too pricey. I can only remember it hailing one time.
