Nav Owners, what PC card reader are you using?

As the topic states, I am looking to use SD cards with this, but can't figure out which PC Card reader works in this thing.

why couldn't they just make a regular SD Card slot?

The interface is kinda of Cheezy, I have an RNS510 in my VW R32 and it's way better, Hard Drive based as well.

What is your take on the Honda system?

The system works great if you use a USB flash drive. FAT only, no NTFS.

I don't think that you are going to have any success attaching a card reader to utilize SD cards.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive from CHina. heh heh...

Make sure you get one that is SDHC compatible if you want to go over 2 gb.

You can't plug an iPod into a SD Card slot.

I've seen little stash-box type things that will fit in there. That seems like a good Idea to me. It's been years since I neede to "Stash" anything but it seems like a good place to keep some emergency cash.

I think they sell them at Radio Shack for about 15 bucks.

Not true at all. I have one working just fine.
This is mine, but it says Lexar, not Kodak.

I also use the PC card adapter on the right in this photo. It works great with the 16gb compact flash card I bought.

I also have had success with this 32gb SSD connecting thru the USB port. I load the songs thru my Macbook Pro's express card slot.

All these things work well...you just have to format the drive as FAT, not NTFS.

I bought a SanDisk PCCard adapter off of ebay for a 4GB Compact Flash card I had, works great. Paid $7 I think including shipping. Pretty much the same as in the pics from Satchel above. I just looked to see if the guy I bought it from had more listed, didn't see any listed. Good luck.
