what's the most miles you've squeezed out of 1 tank?

me: 240 miles

 

370 before i had to fill up

 

350 so far. OP, you should try forcing yourself to drive like a grandma for one tank.

 

340 - But I don't like running the tank to near dry. I could have easily gotten a lot more if I did.

 

I've gotten 390 miles on a tank in the city so far. (625 kms)

 

filled up yesterday after driving 366.7 miles which is the most i have gone. Drove with the gas light on for about 35 miles before filling up.

 

340 miles, IIRC I pumped 9.8 gallons back in.

 

geeze... im right around 290-300 when that light is on.

i live on hills though...

i went 520 in my GD3 once

But usually i get around 330.

 

But my max before filling up is 423. It was bone dry too.

I was literally sweating before rolling up to the gas pump!

 

I already drive like a sissy. 3000 rpm is never touched, coast most of the time, etc etc. That 240 miles wasn't on a dry tank though, a bit over 8 gal I think.

damn this city driving, we prolly spend over 50% in the city.

 

you know that if you try and baby your car too much, your actually making the engine work much harder by being in a higher gear then you have to causing the engine to use much more gas then it should have to!

so just drive normally and hammer on it when you want to and enjoy, Doin simple things like not hammering on it from a start help as does not rushing to a red light, good luck man!

i look forward to seeing my results but i damn better get close to 700km's per tank come spring, summer! cause the echo got 725-800km's on a 45l tank

 

just got 400.1 mpg on 9.048 gal

 

701km/438miles on 37 liters , not sure what that is in gallons. still had another 5 liters left

 

roughly 3600 miles on one tank! Im buying one of these right now!!!
