No, he was right.
400.1 mpg x 9.048 = 3620.1 miles on the tank.

Original poster meant 400.1 miles but stated 400.1 mpg.
It's not as funny if you have to explain it.

^^ im usually at 190-200 at half a tank and i only manage 100 more miles before i go empty.

yep, the first half always goes further than the second half. you might get 250-280 miles.

filled up at 191 miles a tiny hair less than half and it was 5.77 gals. so 33.1 mpg. fairly satisfied.

48.1 for the tank by the gauge
