USB WMA files heard only on driver side

While playing my WMA files from the USB connection, I can only hear the songs on the driver side speakers. Is there a problem with my stereo USB interface?

thanks,

You're not being very specific with the details...

Do MP3s have stereo sound? Did you check that the WMA files *are* stereo? Did you possibly mess with the balance?

i did not do any changes on the balance of the radio speakers.

the wma files came from internet recordings using real player. they were not converted from mp3 to wma.

specifically, i record internet radio using real player and download them to my USB drive was WMA files before playing it in my jazz.

The issue is likely due to the methods you're using to record the content. Possibilities include: A imitation with the output of the original content (is it mono?), an issue with recording audio using your particular computer hardware (recording settings may need to be modified), or even recording/output restrictions within the Real Audio software (it may not allow this type of recording). Either way it's not likely to be an issue with your Jazz.

I found this very thorough walk through outlining the steps involved get it done right: How to download Real Audio streams and convert Real Audio to MP3 - Artists mentioned in the WIRE magazine
