Ok so whats the deal with the replicas. $190 vs. $45. Has any1 used the replicas? If so whats the main differance? Also where is the best/cheapest place to get real ones?

Replicas don't have the clips that also hold them in place. From far away you can't tell the difference but up close you will.

That's about the average price you'll find them for.

For the GE though, I think the OEM look great and they aren't expensive at all.

No thanks, ill be getting OEM.

 

Not too sure about the GE8, but for the GD3, the Mugen ones come with both the double-sided tape and the clips. I'm sure the Mugen GE ones should be similar.

 

Yeah but were talking about replicas. As mikejet stated they have no clips and are held on entirely by tape

 

LOL yeah, the replicas for the GD were only held on by tape as well. x] That, and a lot of them were just black plastic and not a smokey clear plastic like the real ones. :/

 

Hi Check out the weathertec in-channel vent visor,I put them on my 08 ssm and they look great and they come in 2 shades light smoke and dark.

I got my Mugens from Kings Motorsport in the summer of 2007 and they are still looking great without any problems. The clips really help to stablize the visors.

I'm switching to OEM style in October. I'll sell my Mugens for around $110 shipped around then. Write my name down as a reminder for now lol

 

i have a 03 Element w/ just taped on visors since 04 and have not had a problme w/them.

 

I got the replica ones with 3m double sided tape. Been about a year with all types of weather and still on my GE just fine.

 

Yeah as long as you do the proper prep work there is no problem.

 

do they fit the same?

I guess i'll only be out 40 bucks or so if they dont work out.
