Smile Got my TSX key programmed for the Fit

My dealer did the programming/cut this afternoon. Also did the RDX cover trunk delete. Now I don't have to have that huge key in my pocket (just a really big fob).

Wasn't as cheap as some people, got charged $90 for the service today plus the $44 I paid for the key itself on ebay (after shipping)

I got a pair from my Acura dealer, Driver 1 and Driver 2. my charge for the programming was around what you paid too.

Got mine done yesterday.

doesn't really matter which driver you get though. You have to deactivate the memory seat to use the fob.

thats correct. in fact, the "driver 2" fob is about $10.00 cheaper.

wait, so you buy this uncut key, take it in to the honda dealer and they cut it to fit your car?

Mmmmmm, that'd be pretty cool to have the switchblade key.

the hatch manually opens with the handle, there is no button inside to car to open it, so no... I would guess that someone with some know-how might be able to get the trunk mechanism from the TSX into the fit to open the hatch, but I'd bet that would be a major mod, if it were even possible

True... youd probably have to install a solenoid to pop it.
