What did you do to your GE fit today?

Don't understand why you guys want to buy the gold Honda emblems?? If you want them gold just paint them, it'd probably be more durable than whatever finish they have from the manufacturer. Unless they are actually molded in gold colored plastic... And if it's next to impossible to remove your emblem and reinstall it (because the little plastic tabs that hold it in break) then just order replacement ones and paint those. You could have whatever color you want! And probably cheaper and less time consuming than figuring out where/how to order the gold ones.

Best I've done with mirror is pull shaft right down till she can't go no more, then angle mirror up till you can see.
other than that you can drill a hole and put a 4/40 screw; through cup side and into ball.
- but that was on the Oldsmobile.

Dead Pedal Cover Installed
Today I installed an aluminum cover to dress up the foot rest. (please excuse the dirty floor, it's been a rough winter). I already had the official Honda brake and gas cover so now I have a complete set. By the way, in order to get the foot rest cover I wanted, I had to buy the complete pedal set, so now I have an extra gas & brake. If anyone is interested see my post https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/sale...al-covers.html
Here's the footrest cover:

Those look like the kind you DON'T want. They probably have weak little "clips" at each corner that hold them on your actual pedals. They slip off very easily. Avoid anything that is advertised as "universal." Shapes and sizes of pedals differ too much. You want something designed for your pedal shape and size, or you could actually rivet these covers to your pedals like the OEM sport pedals do, but the holes in the universal covers may not line up favorably on the stock pedal.

Went to the partsstore and bought 2 3inch couplers that have 2.5 inch ring adapters inside and made a short ram out of my factory lid/MAF tube. Works well for making some noise! Zip on the butt dyno but now I can hear the motor better. This is on the factory filter, so an aftermarket high flow filter or a adapter and some cone filter will increase noise further.

hmmm, I'll double check alignment and common-senseness before I let them intstall them.
Thanks.

After work yesterday I stuck a screw in 2nd hand cellphone bracket so it stays in one piece.
I now have a fully functional Youtube style video cam while I drive.
I only have to take it off and point it backwards and cars leave a football field between us.
