They just took a red sock and cut the end off and sell it as a fake thermal sleeve
I thought a thermal wrap was supposed to be reflect heat, how could they honestly just sell a sock that would absorb heat lol!

Thanks for all the reply fellow fitfreak... I'm not sure if I gain HP on my short rum intake with K&N filter compare to stock, some says that you are loosing more HP on that set-up becaused the filter is sucking more heat coming from the engine that is why I thought by putting that thing will help a lot in terms of HP.

thanks buddy.. i was going for 205 50 rubber with 16x7+42 wheels, but unfortunately this setup rubs with tein s techs due to taller overall height.
therefore stayed with 15s

i am also getting my roof wrapped like yours..
do u need to remove the black beading to tuck in the vinyl under it ?
if yes how does it get back ?

TIA

after fiddling with my fit for 4 years, i understood that this car does not achieve any performance gains even after spending huge amount of money as this car is manufactured for the main objective of fuel efficiency.
its better to leave the engine bay stock and spend money on stance

hope this helps

Sounds awesome. I'll definitely see if I can come check this out at the very least. MN is a little far from me(i live 6 hours north of Montana), but I might be in Ontario around that time already. Wouldn't be too far out of the way to make from there.

I guess you don't really need to add much to the fit to make it track worthy, but it Looks like you're adding something big to your set up now!

Those are q45 projectors. They're lo beam only xenon projectors. Despite what it looks like there's only a single bulb running the whole headlight. But they sure do look badass. They do sell those at the retrofit source and some other places.

Q45 retrofit? If they are, that's at least 500 for just the projectors

They removed my antenna from the inside by lightly loosening the headliner and they also removed the weather stripping from the sides just by gently moving them forward.

The front weatherstripping they just gently moved and tucked the vinyl underneath it.

I hope that helps explain it!
