Hi All,

I have a TW 09 base Fit, and was thinking about getting the OEM wing from the Fit sport. How is the wing attached?

If I bought the parts from the dealership for the wing, would I have to drill holes?

no idea.. i only have a base.. im planning to do this as well, but havent yet...

also, someone mentioned a spoon style spoiler to ikona.. so might be looking for that instead...

 

Ironically, the "spoiler" is the one part of the Sport that I'd just as soon do without. To my eye, it looks more like a rear window sun visor than a spoiler, but to each his own.

I haven't looked under the "caps" covering the attachment points, but it's a sure bet that the spoiler is bolted on.

 

your best bet is to trade someone that wants a base hatch cuz the sport hatch has nuts welded to it but sunk into the hatch to take the bolts - i'll post a pic later today to give you better reference
get a AM spoiler !!!

 

Thanks for the info. Yeah, if the nuts are welded to the frame on the sport, I might just hold of on a wing for now.
