tranny noise

The G/F's 09 fit sport auto is making a strange little "click" noise when pulling away after switching from reverse to drive. She does come to a complete stop before switching gears, but as soon as she pulls away... a tin-like "click" can be heard from inside and outside the car. Just wondering if this is everybodys experience with the Fit is or if I should mention something to the dealer?

If we're talking about an automatic transmission GE. the noise you describe has been reported by quite a few members on this forum, and is presumably a normal operating characteristic of these vehicles. If you search, there's actually a thread on the subject.

If yours is a manual, then I don't know. Maybe an issue with the synchronizers.
