Hi, our 09 Fit (basic model - not sport) came with a rattling noise (even new) that only happens at second gear around 2000 RPM. Most of the time, it comes on when you let go the gas paddle a bit while it shift into the third gear. When you push it very hard for shifting, it does not have it. The noise sounds like the old water pump or old alternator worn bearing type of noise. Our local Honda tech checked it a couple of times, and could not tell what it might be. Then we went in for the Honda recall on the valve spring replacement last year, thought that might fix it. It is still there after the recall. Just wonder if anybody might have the same experience and resolution. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the fixes for the windshield trim rattle some have had? Mine happened at similar rpm and was fixed. Lemme dig up the thread.
