English doesnt work. Czsech or whatever does. Its hard to go through, but functions correctly with internet explorer. Firefox goes crosseyed and gives me the frumpy face

If using internet explorer, highlight a word or phrase, right click, and hit translate. a new window/tab will pop up and hit translate again to make it appear

Zip is only 62MB, uncompresses to 365MB ISO

Unzip, then burn iso to CD or mount it using VCD (http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html)

Then open HONDAESM.HTML in Internet Explorer. I've modified the HTML to default to English & GE08 model, and not annoyingly shrink the window upon loading.

So, did you download this? Did it give you a virus? I started to and it looked really scary. I want this, but really don't want to nuke my computer with a trojan virus. lol. Can anyone confirm a download with no virus?

 

I downloaded and extracted the ISO file, no virus there according to Avast. Didn't run it or anything yet though...no need to at the moment. Just wanted to have it for when I do need it.

 

It's clean. I ran the iso file in a virtual machine and it works good. I don't have internet explorer installed in my laptop, but I was able to open it with FireFox. Thank you Iratika.

 

Sorry if the file looks suspicious, I promise there are no viruses All I did was take the ISO from krunk13's torrent, delete the non-English directories, and update a few lines in HONDAESM.HTML to start in english, not resize the browser, and start with the GE08 model (which I understand is the standard US model?)

I left it in ISO because it doesn't appear to work unless it is run from the root directory of a drive. I also couldn't get it to work in Firefox. (On Windows, anyway)

 

i dont know if its just me, but i not actually getting the GE8 service manual when i select it. it still shows the GE6 when i look at things like the body exterior. having this issue with original file, as well as the english only version posted above.

anyone know how to correct that?

 

I opened it through FireFox using an add-on called IE-Tab. This is what is fist shown when I open the HONDAESM.html file.

 

Yes, I see that dropdown. It doesn't seem to work.
Look at Specifications - Body Dimensions.
The title the title bar is different ("GE6,2009" vs "GE8,2009"), but the pictures are the same. TF09E8A00000000NCAT00 for both.

 

Iratika hey got the download OK and it opens in the manual 2009 only and I can see the subjects like cooling, engine, etc. BUT when I click on them nothing happens. I just have an arrow for cursor it doesn't select when hovered over? You know what to try next?

 

Works PERFECT. Never got the other to work in english


For those having trouble, click whatever you want to see on menu on left, then hit the magnifying glass lower and right and PRESTO stuff shows up.


Did not know a 6 speed manual Fit existed!!!!! Same final drive if I remember correctly, so maybe it would be much better suited if the gearing itself isnt too much different

 

This manual is an invaluable resource for learning about how non ge8 fits work, but I can't get it to show anything for the ge8.

I select the ge8 tab and then the item/area I want to see, but it continues to show ge6 drawings.

Anyone else not able to see the ge8 info?
