That was a royal PITA.

1.) Unfamiliar with usenet. Figure out what program to use for beginners (GrabIt I suppose...)
2.) Okay, now I need a server. Free trial at binverse. This better work. I just gave out PII.
3.) Open nzb file... Cool, it's going fast.
4.) huh... 5 rar files not found (32,18,11,10,9), what are these par2 files? 1 didn't complete
5.) Read about, download quickpar
6.) Need 35 blocks.

I'm a bit miffed. What do I do now?

Okay, I think I have things sorted out. Re-ran the download this morning and quickpar said I had enough. Ran the "repair". I now have .001-.034. Which do I open in WinRAR? I'm used to an un-numbered first file, but tried to open .001.

! C:\Users\WJLAP\Downloads\Honda Fit_Jazz GE6 GE8 2009 ESM\Honda Fit_Jazz GE6, GE8 2009 ESM.rar.001: Unexpected end of archive

Fine, so I try extracting anyhow.. password honda?

! C:\Users\WJLAP\Downloads\Honda Fit_Jazz GE6 GE8 2009 ESM\Honda Fit_Jazz GE6,

GE8 2009 ESM.rar.001: CRC failed in the encrypted file Honda Fit_Jazz GE6, GE8 2009 ESM\Jaz_Fit 09 69TF0C00.exe (wrong password ?)

Is this saying the file is corrupt, or honda is the incorrect password?

After much pain an suffering, this seems to be complete, extracted, and mounted with no issues. Started in czech as mentioned...

But when I browse on the left, I see nothing on the right. I can browse the various html and image files independently, but not when in the software... any thoughts? Running windows 7 / IE8

*EDIT:

User and user interface issues

You click the folder/topic on the left, then click the search button above. No idea why they make you click twice, rather than having you click the folder to do it...

May I get the link to suck down this wonderful file? I have Winrar already and use a good program to download torrents. Many thanks.

Hi all, new Fitter here. I've found the torrent, but not many seeds available at the moment. (only 1) This would definitely be an invaluable find, so I'm hoping I can get it all.

EDIT: Got it, figured out how it works (Firefox user here) and it's all there and working great.
Thanks

Barb

The thing I'm really looking for is a manual that explains how to replace certain things on the car like interior bulbs, license plate bulbs, air filter and other normal wear and tear items. The owners manual isn't all that detailed and I've figured out a lot of it on my own but I dread the day I break something because I assumed the incorrect procedure to replace something. So the service manual would be nice but is not a neccesity. And it would be nice to get something that is freely available rather than trying to obtain something that you should pay for by getting a copy from someone else.

I only plan to host the file for 48 hours so be quick

Hope this helps all those seeking an electronic copy of the service manual for this awesome little car.
beaugus :would you please sent me the address....

I'm not hosting anything. I found it on Megaupload.

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

I downloaded it. Extracted fine. Looks like the final file is an .NRG file for Nero.

I tried mounting it with Daemon Tools on my netbook. It wants to open in an internet browser. My default browser is Firefox which it doesn't work in. Does this have to run in IE? Wish this could be converted to a PDF.

I have the one for my 2007 Yaris in PDF format. It was very nice to be able to have it open on my netbook. The portability of my netbook made it easy to just have it right by my car where I needed to work.

Which means that this DVD sucks as bad as the Honda ExpressService site, because they both require IE.
