I am currently running +38 offset with my 15" rims and they don't rub at all at stock height. The front stick out beyond the fender much more than the rears so i am gonna guess that with a mild drop they could rub especially with 16" rims.

I can take pics once the weather is warmer and sunnier to show you an idea of how much they stick out if you like.

You can kinda see the wheels sticking out further in the front than in the rear with this pic.

If you need any more pics to help answer ur question, just let me know. I know mine are 15" but the offset is +38mm.

Tdesi420, the Konig Britelites look good on your Fit Sports!
May I ask why did you go from a stock 16" wheel to a 15" wheel? TIA.

The main reason i did the change was because i hit a huge pothole on the stock rims and noticed that one of my tires has a small bubble on it. I couldn't order from tirerack for a replacement because this size is backordered.
So i had no other alternative other than to use these rims which i had on my previous integra.

So far i like the wider tires, much more stabler on the highway even with crosswinds. These rims are lighter than the stock 16", 12.6lbs vs. stock which are around 19 lbs i read somewhere. The braking has improved greatly as well.

I just wish i had tpms sensors on this setup, but besides that they are great so far.

Yes, 12.6 lbs/wheel is lightweight compared to the OEM wheels.
Should improve your acceleration, handling and even your gas mileage as well.

yah, i was thinking about getting those colored fender strips on my front as well cause it does slighly appear too aggressive on
my GD with even a +40mm and 6.5" width.

I personally would NOT go with 38 if you are planning to drop at all.
My new wheels are 44 offset(stock tires) with a mild drop and it is close, a 40-42 offset or a wider tire and I think it would rub on bigger bumps.

Lots of threads on this, here is a very good thread started by Mahout, still on page 1, perhaps you didn't notice it

it wont rub i had +40 16s and they werent even close to rubbing. and now i am running a +37 offset 18's with 215/35/18s on DF210s and it doesnt rub at all. 90% of the wheel fitment posts on here are speculation. i have actually tried a few different ones and havent had any problems... especially with stock tires

..... reaaaaaally..... have any pic's showing how much your tires stick out in the front..?? like a shot coming straight down from the fender to the ground..??... because I have to see this.... I'm running a 18x7.5 52mm offset up front and rear with a 215/35/18 ( with camber bolts ) and I barely clear/ tuck up front with -1 deg camber...

You should plan more towards the future, than now. Are you definitely going to lower it? If so, then I wouldn't go past +40. I'm running a high +30, because I'm not exact on the offset, and I was forced to run 205 because then it would stick my tires out like almost 2 inches. So I'm running 205's, but when I hit a bump, I rub hella.

I have yet to really go under and check, but from what I can see outside, I'm shaving off little by little the wheel well guard :P

So it all depends on your planning and how you will deal with your factors.

Are you getting a lot of negative camber from the drop on DF210's? Have you done a speed bump test with a couple of people in the backseat?

I am not that familiar with the new Fit, but there are lots of people were reporting rubbing issues even with stuff that worked on the GD3; 215's with a +37 offset should rub like a son of a bitch lol

Thanks for the post, rims look great btw!

i actually had a alignment done and it it was within factory spec on the fronts and rears were a little off since they are not able to be adjusted. and i live in south dakota lol every road is like driveing over a speed bump. i have a system in the back and had one person back there and hit a few big bumps and it didnt rub one bit. it is very close (about a 1/2 inch or less) to rubbing the fender liner near the door. and thanks i usually dont like big wheels but these look pretty good imo.

Wow, I am impressed at the tolerances on the GE8. This will open the door to a lot of wheels for people.

I am a big fan of the simple multi-spoke wheels, they always add a nice look to the car.

odd that GE8 seems to have a bigger gap than about any other dropped on DF's ge that I have seen a picture of. That is how he is getting away with it.
Cant figure out the gap, is it bump stops not trimmed that would cause no rubbing also!
Not sure about OP's Toronto location roads, but that offset in Northern IL, SE WI would not cut it after this past winter tearing up the roads. And those 18's (nice style to the wheel by the way) would not stay round very long.

I know the bump stops are not easy to get out of the sleve to cut, did that get skipped?

Yeah it is surprising it does not rub for sure, but there are a couple of GD3's that run problematic offsets with no issues; like Mahout was saying, it really seems to vary from car to car.

whoa whoa whoaaaa. Your front's were okay? I had MAD negative on my toe, which is what really kills tires. After putting on my springs, I had like -.48 for toe, and just about everything else was off.

And like someone pointed out, your front seems to have a rather big gap. I can barely fit one finger in mine. You sure you didn't install it upside down

Not saying anything, just checking to make sure.
