How to remove stock sport spoiler?

Hey guys, trying to remove my spoiler. I removed the top two bolts and its pretty loose. I notice there are clips on the underside by the hatch but they're in an ackward position. Should I pop them out from the inside or tug the wing till it comes off? I feel like I'm going to break it.

Those are just held in by tension, a quick pull up should free the spoiler.

Alright grew a pair and ripped it off lol. The recoil was pretty bad. But it came off, I was just scared of breaking it.

What's left as far as holes when you take it off: can you take any pics?

I'd prefer to not have the rear spoiler, but haven't yanked it off to see if/how the bolt holes could be plugged. I think the Fit looks much cleaner without the awning over the back window.

Ive been looking at the last picture for a while now and I kinda like how it looks. Im thinking of going spoiler-less. I wonder how much Honda charges for that piece with all the holes in it? They probably sell one without holes right? Does the base model have a spoiler?

Actually that piece of is part of the hatch. So you would have to buy a whole new hatch which would cost you a couple hundred dollars. Wouldnt be worth it IMO. Although you can always find a body shop who can bondo it. Or find someone to make a cap or a plug of some sort. Im starting to like how it looks too but dont want to deal with the holes.

Man I ordered this O - Short Stubby Antenna - Color: Black cause I saw a couple people talking about it and how they liked it. But when I got it it was much skinnier than I thought. I like the short ones but this ones waaay too skinny. Only cost me 13 bucks with shipping. Ill probably order the spoon one.

I was afraid the holes might not be easy to plug. I think if anyone wanted a spoiler-free Sport, the cleanest route is to swap hatches with a base owner with the same color car.
