soon to be owner...perhaps

so im wanting to buy an 08 fit. is it worth it?
i heard the Fit is not that great in winter/rainy conditions
and it has no lower back support
and the leg room in the back seat is a joke.

comments on anything u can give about the 08 Fit please!

You need to test drive one somewhere to know if it will be comfortable for you. I find it totally comfortable but I'm pushing the seat rails and the steering column length to their limit. Undoubtably an 09 Fit would be more comfortable, but I'm still not really fond of the look. As far as performance in rainy conditions, etc. from what I understand neither will excel. I would imagine they would be fine for AZ but I don't really know, from what I've read snow is really the problem but I don't know if these people have the proper tires on.

All about tires in the winter. Plain and simple. You can't expect to get by on all seasons in the northern winters.

i'm 5'10 and i sat in the back seat with 4 other friends in the car for about 4 hours. It wasn't the most comfortable, but not unbearable.

fyi, even though the forum is labeled "08- present" it is actually for the 09's+

reasoning on this is that the 09 is the 2nd gen and its chassis is ge8 and the jdm version has been out for over a year. the fit that you are looking at is called the gd3.

back on topic: +1 on winter tires

some ppl cannot stand the backsupport after a couple hours, but nothing a smushed up hoodie or a small pillow can't fix.
